Danny Gokey Wants His Own Line Of Glasses

Danny Gokey was, and will always be, a flaming media whore.
While he was on the show, we had our suspicions that he had a secret eyeglasses deal with Lenscrafters. But since getting kicked off the show, he’s been doing interviews telling the media that he WANTS HIS OWN LINE OF GLASSES, and will donate some of the profits to his dead wife’s charity. If that’s not the most ridiculous, disingenuous, delusional thing I’ve ever heard in my life, I don’t know what is.
He also said he wants to MODEL. Try to contain your laughter. If he thinks anyone will pay to photograph his flabby white ass, he’s even more deluded than we thought.
Gokey-branded eyeglasses? That’s about as moronic as it gets. It’s even more despicable that he’s once again shilling off of his dead wife’s memory. He has no reason bringing her into his business dealings. Only the biggest douchebag in the world would try to profit off of the memory of a deceased spouse like this little prick is trying to do. Gokey makes us sick.

“I want to come out with a line of glasses,” says Gokey, known for his fashionable array of eyewear. “And hopefully somehow tie into the foundation [his deceased wife Sophia's Heart Foundation]. Maybe some of the proceeds can help whatever we try to do for the foundation. I would really like to start a Danny line or a Gokey line.”
Danny says he started out the season of Idol with only 15 pairs of glasses, but since appearing on the show, “glasses have been raining out of the sky,” and he’s up to more than 50 pairs.
He also says he’d like to model.
Hopefully James Montgomery, the lame MTV reporter who recently wrote last week’s article asking “What Do People Have Against Danny Gokey”, will read this blog and finally get clued in as to why people hate this self centered little asshole.
This guy is the biggest shit stain I’ve seen in a week.
Well, if creating his own line of eyewear keeps him off the radio, I say go for it, Danny. (I actually have nothing against this guy. I wish it would have been him and Kris in the finale)

Simmer down, Nikki, simmer down. He’s gone now. I hated Taylor Hicks WITH A PASSION, and once he won (still can’t believe that) AI, that was the very last I saw of him. So, I doubt you’ll be seeing too much of Danny, unless you go looking for him. Hopefully, it will be the same with Adam, once AI is over I hope I never have to see him again. At least you’re an ok Adam fan, these other “fans” that comment on this site are freaking idiots that can’t handle that there’s actually people out there that hate Adam.
Well gosh I wear contacts. I want my own line too. I will also include diamond dusted saline solution, designer red-eye drops, and a leopard print contact lens case.

Gee, and she and I actually get along, go figure That’s because she’s not an idiot and she realizes that her thoughts and opinions aren’t the only ones that matter!! Buh-bye. Nikki & Dafeedil: Let’s see, I’m on a site that people state their opinions, people that I will never know, nor do I want to know. You are both delusional, you are sticking up for each other as if you are truly friends. This concerns me, as you need to realize that you are on the Internet, not sipping coffee at Starbucks (perhaps I should say McDonald’s so that you both will understand). Adam fan, or not, this is absolutely weird and creepy, please seek professional help immediately.
Well, if Danny gets a job promoting eye glasses, at least that will keep him away from the studio, right? I was kind of sad to see Danny go, I thought he was a pretty good guy. Wish Adam would have left, can’t stand that ummm, dude?

I think someone like you who oviously hates more than just AI is the creepy one. From what I’ve read, these commentors just hate American Idol and it’s contestants, you seem to hate everything. Okay well first I’m going to adress Jean. You can hate Adam ALL you want, but people need to stop wishing he were dead. Now, that is just mental and wrong. I don’t care if you hate him but quit it with the wishing violence or death upon him! That’s just stupid and immature, and frankly, rather psychotic. I am I completely devoted Adam fan, I plan to vote the whole four hours for him, but I can ATLEAST understand that people hate him. Maybe you people should consider getting a life instead of bashing Danny. He’s been through a lot this past year and he was not trying to gain publicity from the loss of his wife. He was explaining what a struggle it was to even be able to come to the try-outs after just losing his wife 2 months prior. He started a fund in her honor, not to put himself in the public eye, but to help other people who are in this situation. He is a good guy with a great talent. Maybe you folks should find your talents and get off this bashing kick!

This is the weekend so I can stay up all night looking again at his sexiness and listening to his adorable voice.” And part 2: I love his sexy presence, his body, his face, his hair, his leather pants, his so sexy stares and unmatched vocals, his personality, his fashion sense, his ability to put his personal spin on every song and turn it into pure Adam, his integrity as a person, his charisma, his politeness, his courtesy and professionalism to thank everyone who participates in his performances, his gratefulness, his ability to never say anything bad about another contestant and show genuine acknowledgment of their talents, his confidence to know who he is as an individual and be proud. I wonder how many outfits and jewlry Adam has? Danny was a performer before AI and that is why he had those glasses. So what? He has absolutely nothing to do with DannyGokeyGear or DirectFrames – those companies are false advertising using Danny’s name so you think the company is his and so people will buy. And about the whole modeling thing, how do you get “flabby white ass” i met him LAST NIGHT (8-5-09) and he is really skinny. and cute. and so what if he wants to have his own glasses line. I’m happy for him and all his success. I think its plan rude of you to be saying he is using his wife’s death as a way to get sympathy votes.
