Does Danny Gokey Have A Secret Deal With Lenscrafters?

We’ve all seen the annoying heart shapes that Danny Gokey makes with his hands while Ryan Seacrest reads his voting numbers every week:
And of course we all know Danny Gokey owns more eyeglasses than any “straight man” on the face of the Earth (in fact, it has been scientifically proven that Gokey has more glasses than all of the nursing homes in the United States combined).
So is it just a crazy coincidence that Lenscrafters recently rolled out a new ad campaign with people making heart shapes with their hands?
There are only three possibilities, all of which make Gokey even more of a loser than we originally thought:
1) Danny Gokey has some secret deal with Lenscrafters, and is getting free eyewear for giving the company shout-outs on each episode.
2) Danny Gokey is giving a shout-out to his late wife, who died of a heart disease. If this is the case, Danny is a douchebag for pimping out the memory of his dead wife for sympathy votes.
or 3) Danny Gokey is JUST A HUGE TOOL, who loves to make fancy heart shapes with his hands like he’s a 7 year old girl.
Whichever one you choose, Gokey blows. The end.

Oooh, I think this is a trick question. I’m going to pick #3, just because he is a tool.
And theres always choice 4. All of the above. I hate his stupid, memory-pimping and/or eyewear promoting hearts. It’s sickening. I hate how he sounds the same every week. I just hate him. Whatta tool.
Watch after this season he’ll be in comercials for them.
I didn’t even think of the heart disease/dead wife option. And I wouldn’t put it past him that the glasses are clear lenses, that he doesn’t even have/need a prescription.
That heart is the symbol for Sophia’s Heart Foundation. It’s his way of giving a shout out to Sophia, whom he still loves.

Danny is making a sign to his recently dead wife. You assholes are rediculous. AI has tight controls over product endorsements for a YEAR. Since Danny is by far the best singer and getting better every week, I have very little doubt that he will be crowned the American Idol 2009!

I love it when People throw around insults just because you dont agree with them. It shows complete immaturity and intolerance of the worst kind. Having said that I happen to think danny is not that good. Yes he can sing,but at the top 4 you have to be better than his screamfest last night. Other than that I find him to be completely full of himself and rude and quite frankly just unlikable. All we see is the 5 minutes each week of these contestants. We form our own opinions from what we see and hear. If danny goes on after what we witnessed last night,it will be a shame.. but hey, life goes on..anyone in the top 5 this year can have a successfull career in music if they choose and have the right promotion. I can tell you I want be buying Dannys music.

Ok tell Danny to talk about the foundation after the show. Using that heart sign to ask for sympathy votes to win is sick. Ellen gave it up cause really it was sickening what Danny keeps on doing. Eyuckkkkkkkkk! You can see in his face and how he reacts that he is full of himself. I started the season with him and Adam as my bets. Now I can’t fathom why he is in the top 3.

first off… i think the jealouousy needs to stop. if you were married and lost your spouse you would want to sing in remembrance of them as well or even if u lost a parents,grandparent,friend or anyone for that matter. You cant “hate” on someone for fulfilling his dreams in memory of his deceasd wife. Everyone is gonna have their favorite and honestly Danny didnt do anything to you, Your never going to meet him so why dogg the shit out of him? Actually, Rob, I’ve never been “in” the closet about liking AI. I just hate it this year. Last season was great, and the best and most talented singer won (much to the dismay of all the little Archuleta fans). This year we’re having an untalented girly voiced cross dressing freak and his obnoxious fans shoved in our faces. So, that kinda gets some people to hating, they don’t appreciate people telling them WHO they should like.
Last year was excellent! I agree, David Cook was fantastic. This year there are only two people, that I even slightly liked, and well honestly one more the the other. Adam, of course, being me, is my absolute favorite. Kris, well is just adorable! And a pretty good singer. I liked Allison, but she needed to go. Oh, and Dafeedil, remember…only MOST of his fans are obnoxious, there are a (very very very) few of us that aren’t retarded! haha.
Nikki, I also really liked that girl that sang “Betty Davis Eyes”, remember her, Jesse something? I wish they would have given her a chance instead of one of those other two girls Jasmine or Alexis (that Alexis drove me NUTS). She had an awesome voice and she probably would have gotten far this year.
I gotta tell you, my wish was to have Norman and Tatiana battle it out for the crown. Seriously, wouldn’t that have been fun? Either way, next week is going to be close, so we’ll see.
Oh, that would have been hilarious! I don’t think I remember that girl, but I hated Jasmine and Alexis. My choice for the finale came true though! Kradam, haha. I’m afraid Kris will win, cause there’s too many anti-adams + kris fans…most anti-adams will vote for Kris jsut so Adam doesn’t win. No offense, because if I remember correctly you’re one of them aren’t you? =)
Honestly, I don’t LIKE Adam, I would like to see Kris win, he really does have the potential for a wider audience, but it really doesn’t matter because whoever wins it’s not like I’d run out and buy one of their CDs or anything.
If you youtube “tatiana” or “tatiana american idol”, you’ll find her. Trust me, if you saw her AI audition and her performances, you’d remember her. What a piece of work she was. Way back when when they were doing the top 13, I thought “oh, please, don’t put that psycho in the top group”, and now that I look back, what fun it would have been if she did make it further in the competition. She had a not bad singing voice, but she was such a drama queen, like I’ve never seen before. Too funny.
