Hey everybody -
We understand you all have your favorite – and least favorite – Idol contestants (we do too). The debates in the comments section are getting heated, and that is fine… but we will not tolerate or condone HATEFUL SPEECH on this website. I have a zero percent tolerance for gay bashing, and all racist/anti-gay comments will be moderated and deleted.
Speak your case for or against your favorites, but do it intelligently and have a sense of humor about it. Idol is the biggest joke on television – so lighten up.

I think Adam is a fine looking fellow, and what he does behind closed doors is his business, but I do not fully appreciate his singing ability.

I think Adam is neither good looking nor a remarkable singer. There are a million other Broadway wannabes with talent marginally better than whatever it is he possesses. unfortunately the American public are a bunch of sheep and will start fawning over whomever the judges program them to… like clockwork. American Idol is crap and I love to hate it. Thank goodness for this site.
I understand this is a “reality” show, but I’m beginning to think the judges are tone deaf or wait… maybe they are listening to something we aren’t hearing? You know those little hidden ear piece thing-a-ma-jigs?? Maybe they are listening to their favorite music CD while the Idol wannabes are
screamingsinging! That has to be it, right?Point of clarification. A website called “wehateidol” is censoring what kind of hatred can be expressed on its website? Okay then… Why is it that American Idol cannot find female judges without a history of eating disorders? If it is okay to have said judges on the show – a show that is surposedly a role model for tweens and teens – why are there so many restrictions on what an idol winner should be – at least publicly?
Point of clarification for people like Sasha who have a hard time understanding the obvious: There are certain words and terms that cross the line and will not be tolerated. It’s fine to say Adam Lambert’s hair is nasty or Allison is a fat pig. But it’s completely another to call Anoop a “sand nig-er” or to say you want Adam Lambert to get Aids and die. That’s repugnant and your comment will be deleted.
Ok. Fuck everyone who says Adam cannot sing. Are you fucking retarded? or just deaf? You fucking morons, you have no musical taste whatsoever, and I’m praying that you burn in hell. Also, he’s ridiculously gorgeous. So all you haters can fuck off, and go get lives. Adam Lambert is going to, deservingly, win Idol and become successful. So people can discriminate against people on the basis of size, sex, religion, intelligence, physical attributes, fashion preferences but not race or sexual preference? I agree with your overall point though that spewing hatred against people, for whatever reason, is repugnant – and is often based on fear and/or ignorance. Still I would prefer that they put it in writing than in actions! I would also prefer that the level of profanity expressed by some bloggers be toned down but hey, there’s something called the first amendment and anyway, it ain’t my website. And as the editors note above, blogs that breach the website rules will be expunged. We are all on notice!

In my opiion ,we hate idol staff sucks and needs to just dissapear. The next american idol needs to be Adam Lambert!! He is the only one who is talent and not afraid to take a chance.
